The project's starting point was to create an object thought to be from the 40's & 50's. This design revolves around three main concepts:
1. Women tended to spend many hours, if not all day, inside their homes. Thus, they would pay attention to interior design and feeling comfortable inside the house. They expected for decoration items to be versatile, so as to be able to change the space whenever needed.
2. The project also represents the shift from a B&W world to a colored one with the introduction of live-color TV and other technological advancements.
3. The circular shape of the lamp shades are also a reference to the atomic context of the time.

Different room variations created by the shifting of the shades. From color changes to light-shadow combinations.
